The Sassanids took over the remnants of the Persian Empire. As such, they start with impressive armies and a large amount of cities to call their own. They are quite strong, and very advanced in technology.

Overall Unit Summary:

Well-rounded units is what you’ll find when playing as the Sassanids. They have no real “strong point”, per se, but their elephants and cataphracts are enough to win any battle at the hands of an experienced commander..
