I wasn't sure where to post this question.

I was wondering what could be next in the Total War series of games? I think that I would like to see them create a game that kind of picks up where Medieval II ends as far as technology is concerned with some early gunpowder units being brought into play.

More specifically, I'd like to see them create a game that covers the 17th and early to middle 18th centuries.

What period of history would you like to see the next possible game in the series cover?

Napoleon? Could be an interesting one and a logical next step in the series. You can mod RTW to play a Napoleonic game btw.

Thanks for the RTW mod suggestion.

Yeah, that was the next step in the series that I had in mind. Has there ever been any discussion of another Shogun game?
