What is the most denarii per turn that you ahve had a settlement make? I thought 4-5k was about as high as it would get, coming from soemthing along the lines of a deveoloped athens/corinht/etc but apparently I as wrong....In my Seleucid campaign Salamis (I think it was) makes an average of 7k per turn! Sometimes 7,500. It was over 5k right after I conquered it from Egypt so I added a high management governor that had been in Antioch and holy crap MONEY! And it's only a large city.....

I had Athens making like 9,900 per turn on low taxes. With taxes on very high it was over 11,000 (but public order went down to 60%, and it was my capital and favourite city so I liked to keep it on low... it made enough money that way). I think Athens is always the biggest moneymaker.

Wow. 11,000 denarii?! WTF! I consider myself lucky if I can squeeze over 1,000 out of a city. But as for the highest: Athens and Thessolonika(sp?) with an average of about 5,000 per turn as the Brutii. With Thessolonika as my capital.

If you count the gross trade money, it would be much higher.
