I hadn't seen this before the patch, so when it happened to after my first combat, I decided to see how tough my general actually was. I'm playing Julii, and the general's name is Vibius. For 37 years he's done everything that I never did with my other generals, leading charges, storming gates, countercharging enemy cavalry through his own lines. He's been the spearhead of my campaigns against Gaul and Spain, never failing to crush the opposition, including one very memorable battle outside Carthago Nova where he was outnumbered 2 to 1.
Vibius is 65 now, and my faction leader. He's got an amazing set of positive traits, and a 50 man bodyguard that has a gold chevron. I've retired him to governing Asturica, where the Spanish made their last stand against him, since I doubt he would survive the trip to my new war with Germania. Though I'm beginning to wonder if anything can actually kill him...
