Does the new patch incorporate better AI pathing? Because, in my campaign attack at Larrissa, I ordered my legion to perform a complicated urban maneuver (Aka turning a corner), and not a single one rushed out of the city. Is this a new feature of the patch?

The new logic for following the right path not only applies to the urban environment but crossing rivers without drowning.
It is new logic.

Pathfinding is better but there is still some room for improvment. Units still stop at waypoints before moving on to the next waypoint, instead of it being continuous.

Agreed; i had problems getting grouped units into cities because their entire formation wouldn't fit so i had to move them separately. Hopefully, patch 1.3 will fix those smaller issues. But its so nice being able to pay attention to something, say battles, instead of troops walking.
I'm curious though, I noticed this new behavior in my old campaign. Why?
