Has anyone else had success playing the Macedonians?
Started a new game on E/E (I'm a Newbie). Conquered the Greece first then the Dacians. I have since annihalated the House of Scipii, The Senate and The Julii. The whole trick is to capture them before they are able to convert the troops to the more advanced. I am though haveing trouble with the Brutii. I just took all of Italy and they are sending wave after eave of ships with troops.
Since they have conquered Carthaginia and Numidia they have a few more troops than me.
Egypt is my next conquest since I have a strong foothold in the former Seculid empire.

I'm currently playing as Macedon now. Although you don't have quite the selection of units as you would with say Seleucia, but its not overly difficult, if you can properly utilize a balance between your phalanxes and heavy cavalry.
BTW, the quote is "Cry 'Havoc', and let slip the dogs of war."

If you want to put that quote in your footer, go to "my account" and change it there .

Man my name is Havo, so I like the quote the way it is.
Quote:
"Cry Havo, and pass the bakhlava"
