AFAIK, only the number of soldiers in a unit matter. So peasants would actually be better than a unit of Hatati. Don't know if someone can confirm this.

I thought they decreased happyness i know your debt in a settlement goes down or up depending how much money you have there. Since you have more forces to help collect taxes. Oh wait i remebered something... They do increase happyness... (Took most of an army out a town it turned face to blue.) I think they all increase happyness no matter what.

I assume that the unit size effect is relative. For all I know, changing the unit scale has graphical effects only.
