Well, the only thing I can make out of this thread is:

The Latin abbreviation for Gaius is: C.

No, Caesar is not Caligula. Gaius was used as a generic first name of a lot of Romans. Caligula is a nickname for Gaius, which means little boot and was given to him by legionnaires when he was spending time in camp with them at a young age. Caligula would rule after Tiberius and was an awful emperor. He was later killed by a Praetorian officer he offended years back.

Just because they had the same name does not mean they were the same people, they were decades apart (if I'm correct). My point is, Caesar was dead by the time Caligula was even born...long before

Try centuries apart.

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away.

Try (about) one century. Caesar was born in 100 B.C., Caligula in 12 AD. Just over 100 years.

We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.
