I tried to uninstall RTW because i modded the game and i could not download the patch. and now it says i cant play it or install it. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're in luck, I think I can help you. This might be a compatiblity issue with Windows XP Service Pack 2, but more likely it's an error in the game (I had a problem like this with Battlefield Vietnam). What you're going to have to do is manually uninstall the game. First manually delete the game folder in my Computer. Then, go to "Run" in the windows start menu and type in "regedit". Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/The Creative Assembly and delete the Rome Total War folder (don't delete anything else!). Once you've done this, restart your computer and you should be able to install Rome Total War.
