Not to re-open another 4 page thread-- but did anything conclusive come out of of the studies on the charge bonus?

I was thinking of modding the companion cavalry to up their attack and lower the charge bonus in an attempt to make them more effective in campaign games and just wanted to know if I'd be throwing away what was supposed to be good about them.

If you examine v1.3 you should notice that now it's working correctly.

You can do the tests for yourself. Take a single unit of infantry and cavarly. Run several charge tests, then edit the descr_unit file to up the charge bonus and try again.
