the infantry are for siege equipment.
if you have 16 or more units of any cavalry.. works best with heavy cavalry, or experienced light.
you simply... pile the enemy.
to the point of this heres a description
The ++++++++ stands for enemy infantry, pikeman, hoplites whatever.
the (-) stands for spaces between the infantry units.
the $ stands for infantry if you even bother this makes the infantry not pay attn to help the guys under attack.
now you guys will probably say (hey thats not how many units an army would have against you!!!)
just tihnk of it like this, there light javalins etc are on the sides doing stupid stuff killing like 5 infantry will my cavalry kill 100's of infantry. so use your imagination.
it works i did the entire jullii game from 35 or so turns in this way and got 110 wins and 10 losses before winning the game, (long version)

ok thats how the battle starts.
heres how it becomes

ill spread the infantry out as far as possible so they can get the attn of 2 divisions of armies.
here it is at contact.

its hard to show it like this :/
but in the above design, this is what it means, my cavalry all charge 1 formation at once, and the men in the back keep charging forward to get to the enemy, making the thing sorta like a track, the guys in the front will eventually get behind everyone else since everyone else is still charging,
and when they finally get to the back again, they will begin there charge,
one theres a hole in the enemy's line its all mop up. just hit them with 3 units of cavalry for each infantry division to completely destroy them on contact.
heres how it will look after the first infantry division is destroyed, and the cav line up for there 2nd and 3rd full charge usually the infantry, if not experienced have retreated or been killed by now, but sometimes you get those... hero's the guys that will hang on and live for the battle to survive for the next
ok this diagram is after the break through and the establishment of my 2nd charge formation, from behind.

somthing along those lines..
after the first break through the enemy infantry cant turn fast enough and are completely screwed up, so cavalry will alway win this.
against the ai. since even on very hard the AI is sooo stupid.
Dont chew me out or anything if you try this against your internet buddy and he kicks your ass, it might work the first time against a human.. but the 2nd time i doubt it still its sorta an exploit that cavalry in that huge of a charge act the way they do,
it works good in cities also, they just charge up,kill handful of infantry, then fall back then charge up etc, etc,
works great, but it isnt for a while until you get the kind of cavalry numbers to do this,
my equites did this incredibly well, and most of them would end up living spreading the casualties out with every charge. works great.
