Rrrrr, I've been doing everything I can think of but some of the stupid images won't work! All the ones that don't work have those spaces inbetween two of the letters. Anybody know what's going on?
And for some reason my photobucket account with those pictures won't let me or anybody see it without logging in.
My other photobucket account works fine:

But the one with those screenshots doesn't:

Hmm...you must not have win zip, apparently. I think that's what you use to extract files. But you shouldn't need that to install my Spartan pack. You just copy and paste the text and then put the models and textures where they go and your set.
First, downloading downloads the file, it does not install it. You install it yourself which is way easier than it may sound to you.
"and whenever i click on any of the icons a window comes up asking me to buy winzip"
What icons?

WARNING: INSTALL THE PATCHES BEFORE YOU INSTALL ANY NEW UNITS OR STUFF AT ALL OR YOUR GAME COULD CRASH!
This has nothing to do with battle pics and might be better discussed through e-mail rather than forums. But never-the-less...
If I refer to anything as "mine," I mean the one included in the download.
Each text document I've provided has a block of text in it, and each one has the exact same name as one of yours. Example of what to do:
Copy the text from the export_descr_units file included in the download. Paste it at the very bottom of your export_descr_units file that will be in your data folder. (directory: my computer/c:/drive/program files/activision/rome total-war/data) Do the same with every single text document EXEPT export_descr_buildings. Open your export_descr_buildings document. Copy and paste each line of text included in my export_descr_buildings document under the correct building (mine says the building to put them under). If your confused spend five minutes wheeling around your export_descr_buildings document to better understand it.
Place all those files that are inside my models_unit folder including my textures folder inside your models_unit folder. Basically, just move everything in my models_unit folder into yours. Place my UI folder inside your data folder. Now hope you did everything right and boot up the game.
I really cannot explain it any more simple than that. Read it carefully and take time if you're still confused.
Ugh, I'm tired.

PONTUS vs PARTHIA VH/VH

http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=clibinarii116fg.jpg
I've been chasing this army all around the Fertile Cresent and finally they turned to fight. Oh, I just noticed that my mouse wasn't over the odds *curses*, I think they were 4:3 in my favour, the Parthians didn't have a unit under 3 bronze chevrons!

http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=clibinarii128iz.jpg
They have a far longer line than me, but luckily they are moving all their skirmishers and cavalry to their right, where I have my best troops.

http://img142.imageshack.us/my.php?image=clibinarii131cm.jpg
My Bedouin Archers managed to lure the unit of Persian cavalry that had 1 gold chevron into striking distance.

http://img142.imageshack.us/my.php?image=clibinarii141ny.jpg
The battle is joined, sadly the Parthians avoided my phalanx in the centre, negating my best units destructive potential.

http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=clibinarii159tl.jpg
My Cappadocian cavalry smash through the Parthians, giving many of them back and spinal injuries as they learn to fly.

My chariots and Pontic cavalry charge.

http://img88.imageshack.us/my.php?image=clibinarii184ms.jpg
Off they go to loot, rape and kill. The elapsed time between first contact between my infantry and this was about 10 seconds.

http://img88.imageshack.us/my.php?image=clibinarii195eu.jpg
That's nasty!

2 Minute Minor for Tripping.

http://img88.imageshack.us/my.php?image=clibinarii1111sv.jpg
As usual the cavalry got away without suffering too many casualties, which is alright since they would have killed a lot of my guys if they stayed and fought with conviction.

http://img88.imageshack.us/my.php?image=clibinarii1122ne.jpg
Quite happy with the end result, low casualties, plenty of experience and one more Parthian army bites the dust.

^^ Submit the "That's nasty" one to toons, with the side comment being something like "Limbo for your life!" or "How low can you go?"
^The patches have installation wizards, just like RTW does. It can't get any easier. Make sure you have 1.3 installed before 1.5, is all I can say. My 5 year old niece could install patches, just to show you how easy it is.

Here we are- my battle. All useual commentry and details.
Bonus: a toon which I'm planning to submit when I have gathered more. You saw it here first, folks!
The date: 247 BC, Summer
The location: Coast directly soth of Salona
The factions: Greek cities V Julii
The Armies: Taloas of Pella (1286 men) V Lucius Julius and Captain Numerius (Garrison leader) (Total 1262 men)
The background: Following the unification of Greece, the Sack of Byzantium and the Thracian war, Greece now turns it's eyes on Turkey. However, before it can launch a full invaision, the Brutii attack from Apolliania. The Seige is repelled, and, although the Brutii have lost half of their millitary, The greek council decied that the Romans are now a threat. The Invaision of Turky is postponed, with preperations for the Roman war begginning.
This battle is one of the campain led by Taloas of Pella to gain a suitible springboard into Northen Italy, to work with the army being trained in Sicily who will invade from the soth. Targets are Apolliana (Taken, 245 BC), Salona (Taken, 247 BC) which is the battle you're about to see, and Segistica (Planned to be taken by 243 BC). Here The Julii land a releif army for the besieged garrison of Salona to link up to. However, things don't go the Julii way...
The battle

Sorry, Didn't get the before-battle screen, but the odds were 1:1- although it was mainly hastani army, they had 3 generals (one of tehm the leader) and all were veterens.

Deployment:[JPEG, (137.66 KB)]
Since I'm defending, I set up on a slight hill for a good defensive position, with peltasts in front.
[JPEG, (175.56 KB)]
You can see the romans marching towards me, with the reinforcements' flag just over the hill.
[JPEG, (172.15 KB)]
The peltasts are chased back to the lines by some groups of Hastani, but immedietly get slaughterd by Hoplites.
[JPEG, (165.70 KB)]
The Julii attack in waves. Below the cut off is a Julii general walking about looking to flank the army. In the distence is the reinforcements- too late, as always.
[JPEG, (167.33 KB)]
A reverse veiw. Cavalry battles on the wings erupt. The Julii generals on both wings are killed, although on the left inflicted heavy casulties on the cavalry and supporting phalanx.
[JPEG, (150.05 KB)]
The Julii regroup with the reinforcements.
[JPEG, (177.50 KB)]
The greek cavalry lured the equites away from the main army, before crushing teh unit with the help of the general. Meanwhile, down the line, the remaining Roman family member had charged the phalanx line. Both die, for some reason
[JPEG, (154.45 KB)]
A failed flanking on the right crused by cavalry. The Julii regroup again.
[JPEG, (199.22 KB)]
Suicide captin. 'Nuff said.
[JPEG, (162.36 KB)]
After rideing out to mow down some routers, the cavalry return in time to foil yet another flank attack. Here, Taloas of Pella leads the chrage.
[JPEG, (136.04 KB)]
The Julii prepae to retreat, haveing done little domage except to my cavalry while takeing lots of their own. However, as my cavalry home in, a unit of hastani is sent to delay the horsemen. I can tell you now it fails. misrably.
[JPEG, (137.87 KB)]
Scatterd troops from accross the map try to take out my general, who was persueing routing units. This fails, too.
[JPEG, (144.98 KB)]
Toon time! I notice a unit of Ballistas near the edge of the map. I charge, takeing 2 losses to the bodyguard to ballista fire, and the camera accidently turns to this angle. I can't pass up the oppertunity!
[JPEG, (138.93 KB)]
The death count would have been more had I not accidently clicked 'End battle' instead of 'continue'.

The outcome: The Julii's foot hold in Greece is captured, and loose 3 family members. The invaision of Italy is well on it's way, with only the capture of Segistica needed to be able to start the 2nd phase.

Comeing soon! The Greek invaision of Italy, Sparten hoplites takeing out Triarii, and the Pontus expedition.
Stay tuned!
