I have tried everything and my computers will not let me play Medievel Total War all my other Total wars will play but that one will not. It will not let me go into the campaign mode. Can someone help me out on this one?

I'm wondering if you need to install Medieval first before any other game. You don't have RTR do you?

I wouldn't think the presence of other Total War games plus mods and/or patches would affect the installation of MTW. It shouldn't anyway (just guessing here).

had a similar problem myself.

had both RTW and MTW / VI installed but hadn't played MTW for ages.

so booted up MTW - played for a while then it crashed. restarted, played for a couple of turns, saved - the game crashed again. tried loading saved game. crashed again.

so i re-installed MTW / VI. same thing happened.

uninstalled MTW / VI, lost my RTW/BI icons on desktop and the entry in start / progs menu.

ended up having to uninstall RTW/BI and re-install (luckily my saved games were OK) RTW/BI. which plays fine but I haven't re-installed MTW/VI.

very odd esp as originally the RTW/BI and MTW/VI were on different drives so no reason they should have interefered with eachother.
