In my seleucid campaign, i was at war with parthia, greece, pontus, armenia, and egypt after only a few turns. I was beating back sieges every turn. Good times...

It's not that strange. Dacia is just that land in the middle of nowhere everyone wants to capture!
4 enemy factions is my normal enemy list, anyway. But that's a lot easier to do playing as Romans with two other factions to back you up, not to mention a crapload of money!

Wartrain's All Factions mod in the downloads section. There's a few variations, so make sure you get the right one for your version of the game.

For the AI in 258 BC, that really isn't too unusual. I'd have expected the Brutii to have taken Salona by then though.

Correct. With Dacia, you want to hit Thrace first. They have good cities, take Campus Getae, Tylis and Byzantium, then head down into Macedon and Greece as soon as you have a reasonable number of Falxmen. Once you have them, you ca pump out Chosen Swordsmen, Chosen Archers and Barbarian Noble Cavalry to you heart's content while making enough money to justify hiring lots of Mercenary Hoplites. Make sure you utilise the Archer advantage. Also, taking Campus Scythii, Tanais and Chersonesos is well worthwhile, due to the grain trading and the fact that it basically cripples Scythia. You can afford to wait a while before doing that though.

I have to protect my backside, Germania isn't being very leniant...Britannia hasn't attacked them once yet, and when i play as ANY other faction except britannia and germania, britannia ALWAYS attacks Germania...I wonder how long they'll hold off fighting them...I will let you know lol.
Aren't Dacia in the Baltic regions? The most conquered lands ever? LOL

Still wipe thrace out. You can take three good Large Towns with reasonable growth, which is definitely not to be sniffed at. The production advantage compared to a town is huge. You also remove one of the factions that is fighting you. The trade from them is rich enough that you can afford a bigger and better army and will be able to deal more damage to Germania. You should also be able to afford an army to go for Macedon in the future. This should allow you to take the Aegean and if you accept going to war with the Brutii and consequently all of Rome, then provided you manage your economy reasonably well, you are financially made for most of the rest of the game.

Yes, take Thrace out first- those baestani and phalanx pikemen are a pain in the ass if you let them get them. Afterwards, you should look south to Greece. It is the richest part of teh game, after all. From there, I'd spread west, then an attack of Italy at your leasure

I had to abandon Anquinciam and Lovosice, they weren't worth keeping a constant fight with Germania right now. It worked to my advantage! I smashed the hell out of Macedon and I've worked down to Bylazor. I took Campas Getae from Thrace, then they took it right back, they hid a full stack of pelstats, pikes, cavalry and phalanx pikemen in the trees near it .
Scythia has been constantly sieging me at their old capital after I took it from them, but their problem is they never have more than one infantry unit! They have one unit of archers and the rest are horse archers, they stand no chance! I'm pretty frustrated playing as them right now, I've won a lot of battles but not much to show for it. I only went from 2 settlements to 8 at a high peak, now I'm back to 4 and about to lose 1. Sigh*, will keep updating, this is by far the hardest campaign I've ever played lol. I didn't think it'd be possible, but it turned out so!
