Ok i play as carthage on vh/vh and my soldiers find any reason to run away. I was attacking this city and the odds were like 100/1 that i would so i thought it was in the bag. But my many units of iberians and libyan spearman were fighting the general and they all fled en masse. In another battle, i was being attacked on the flanks by numidian mercenaries so i sent out my round shield cavalry and after like two of them got hit by javelins, the entire unit routed!!! I've lost alot of decisive battles because of there incompetency so if any of you could give me any hints on how to keep there moral up, besides keeping your genereal nearby and using the rally ability, it would be greatly appreciated
