YeS! When i go into battle mode I see a dozen horse archers standing behind two archer men. The battering ram that I saw was built in the campaign map vanished and didn't even appear when we went into actual battle! Right when I click STart Battle the AI turns and runs away. A few seconds later I get CLOSE VICTORY. wtf!?! lol!!

I did that for all the settlements Germania have taken. They've taken back 4/5 settlements I took from them. I made sure to destroy every building in the settlement before they took it from me.

Sadly it dosen't work on Germans because their basic infantry, the spear warband, is is better than most pike units. If you give up on this campaign, Germania is the one to try next. They're a sort of a hairly version of the Selucids, but with better infantry and archers.

Get the third upgrade to a city and build a archer building. The chosen archers have melee, AR and shooting 13-14 and are a 1 turn build. They are absolutely the best archers in the game.

Well, not as good as gauls forester archers (they're lethal, specially with the buildings to upgrade their weapons+xp), but I'll agree chosen archers are very nice - makes countering the rare threat of spartans easier as well!
Maybe you should give one of the other similar styled barbarian factions a try on VH/VH instead of dacia? The dacians will be surrounded by foes so might be much more of a challenge if you're not used to VH/VH mode, whereas alternatives (the Britons would probably be the easiest of barbarian alternatives) wouldn't have quite so many fronts to fight battles on. Germans are also very nice, due to their great warband (crush all nearby barbarian spear warbands), their beserkers, and their chosen archers if you ever need to fight phalanxes.

I never go over H/H these days, the outcomes are just too weird. Its also worth running an army you are aligned with. I tend to run the eastern archer armies and avoid things like the Gauls. Germania i played after the Selucids became too easy and now play RTR which adds so many cities the game is very difficult on any setting.
