War Dogs are one of my favorite units (so are spear war bands ans berserks), and I like to combine my wardogs with my cavalry and have them charge together into battle, normally at the enemy general if he exposes himself enough or has charged in to my front line. I was just wondering, should I not combine my dogs and cavalry? I have seen pretty good results from it, but is there something better I should be doing? Also, I usually have all of my cavalry and dogs in one huge mass on one flank where i have decided I will open a whole to get to the general. Should I instead even my flanking cavarly/dogs to multiple flanks?

Ohhhh, I am going to try that. What do you normally put in your Germanic army? In my ideal army I have 2 screeching woman, 2 wardogs, 4 spear war bands, general, 2 gothic cavalry, and for the rest I have a combination of Chosen Axe men, night raiders and Zerks.

I was wondering...it seems that after my dogs have engaged the enemy it is impossible to get them under control. Is there a way to gain control of them again? And can dogs get scared and run away? Like if they saw an elephant or something.
