It seems Roman Generals don't die unless they're down to > 10 men in the unit. Now I tryed playing as Brits and their Generals are contstantly dying, even when there's 40 men left in their unit. I'm afraid to get them near a fight now, it's like "Okay Caratacus, be a careful boy and don't fall off your chariot and die at the first whiff of commbat" Am I playing a cursed campaign or are the Brits always this way? Thanks

Chariots are very powerful units. Never charge them into spears, or elephants though as they die quickly. The British general unit is a great unit to use against horse, archers, even cohorts, although when charging cohorts you must make sure you keep them moving, that is the key. Gotta keep em moving..or they will die quickly. The Brit general unit is the most powerful chariot unit in the game. Try using it against horses and see the damage they do.

All chariots are weak if you don't control them well... and in some situations (where terrain is tight like cities) you can't control them well.
