I've recently tried using hotkeys for my different units of troops. I've noticed, though, that when I charge an enemy unit with a hotkeyed group, one of my units always does something stupid like running straight for another enemy unit. And when I click on that specific unit (who isn't going where he's supposed to), he completely ignores my constant orders for him to attack the targetted unit.

On another ocassion, I used a hotkeyed group to target this specific enemy unit. One of my hotkeyed units was in the east fighting infantry, and the other hotkeyed unit was north fighting cavalry. I double-clicked on the enemy infantry unit so that both my hotkeyed units would attack it. After like 20 seconds of clicking, it was apparent that they weren't going to obey my command.
Does anyone else have any problems with hotkeys? Or perhaps tips on how to avoid situations like this while using hotkeys? I've lost so many battles where my key units were lost because they wouldn't obey me while hotkeyed.
