Is there anyway to have three teams on the custom battle? Why can't you have 3 factions killing each other? Any way to mod this (or is there a mod out?)?

As far as I knew you could... Just change the teams to 1 2 and 3 and it'll be a FFA.

Only two teams are possible in custom battle.

You could put the CPU in charge of enemy and allied armies. This will make it feel like more players.

You can have eight different factions fighting.

I used custom battle to have this fight.

Greek 10,000 cost army assaulting 150,000 cost 7 army town of Gaul on very hard settings.

There were over 30,000 troops in the battle. Mostly upgraded warbands.

Took the plaza and held it for three minutes. So won. I choose to continue the battle. But then the massed enemy generals, all seven of them, came and broke my troops and I lost every single man. When I quit the battle, with no troops left, I was surprised to see that I had still won.

Think you have got it slighlty wrong there severous. True you can only have 2 sides in a battle over a town but in a open map you can have any number.

I have had 4 teams in a 2 vs 2 vs 2 vs 2.

Yes Roman Warlord you are right. It depends on the map. Thanks for clearing that up.
