do u know how to change city names, eg so i could change pergamum to Troy?

I think it can pnly be done through modding, but it may be hardcoded and un-modable.

Right, you can a) go fiddle with the relivent files or b) if you have BI installed go find preferences and change the line about changing city names from false to true.

No no no, it is much easier to do than that. Atleast in 1.5 (havn't tried in the other versions), you can just open the settlements scroll and double click on the name and then rename it to whatever you want. You need to own the city first though (I think).

i wanna no how to change the name so it starts like that. SO for example i can recreate the battle for Troy in my campagin.

I thought you meant double click on the name, that will be fun, renaming all cities with what they are today.
