Anti Aliasing is when it makes everything look smoother. My computer doesn't have this option either, perhaps your computer has to support AA; I'm not sure, ask someone else.

thats the problem i have with my roman units they got pointy arms and legs and it only happens to the romans not all of them but only the infantry

Unit shaders? Im a bit like Nimbert at the moment...but it rings a bell as the cause of pointy legs. Try changing shaders setting (not shadows)
