I'd rather take Spain first in order to have money to fight Romans.
They not gonna get strong with their 2 towns anyway.
Take closer town but don't go to Italy before u have money and advanced army.
I've never tryed to play for Carthage so may be i'm wrong.

"low on money" o.0 How can Carthage have low money?!
Its ALWAYS the richest faction around, its armies just suck badly.

My best advice is to be cautious. The last time I played as Carthage, I invaded Italy before I was ready, and well, before I could handle the Scipii, but after I attacked Capua, and was counterattacked by the Senate and had my best army nearly annihilated, the Brutii and Julii joined in on the brawl. Yes, knock out Numidia. Don't worry about Corduba, focus on Palma. Don't let the Spanish live long enough for their Bull Warriors to come into play. 'nuff said.

Ignore Spain, are you crazy? They send massive armies towards you and Corduba can be a great way to ease money on other towns with the high population. I had a 3 front war going, destroying Numidia, holding Sicily and Carlais, and attacking in Spain. After wiping out the Spanish and Numidians, I attacked towards Massila and let the Julii attack me there while I built an army of Sacred Bands and invaded the now rebel city of Capua. I also learned that it is possible for someones only town to revolt against them. I also learned that the Senate will bribe cities.

I have found if you Take out Spain Early on and Numantia from the Gauls, That part stays dafe for AGES. Te Julii, Scipii and Senate are gone and i hold Scily and Ital and i am now going to build some Armys and bring them over to the Britii near Macedon, Egypt has betrayed me so im now in a full scale war with them but i have loads of Armoured Elephants over there so im quite well defended, its fun to send Armoured Elephants against Egyptian Charioteers hehe.
