I've seen a few seaborn assaults. IF you take Sicily from Rome, you can bet on at least a few landings.

In my RTR:PE campaing playing as te Romans, i had Carthago caputred but then i decided to go to that city south of it (Hadrumentum?) I took my whole army there and took it but then the Carthagians recaptured Carthage.I was stuck in Hadrumentum with a full stack and every 2-3 turns 2 full stacks of Carthaginians lay siege to my city. How do they muster those armies so quick? I usually wipe out 2/3 of every army that attacks me and i thought that it would slow down those pesky Africans but they keep sending full stacks out of nowhere

ive never seen people land on any island other than Sicily, the Scipii do it all the time. Britain is always safe, as is Rhodes and Tara

Few factions put their armies on boats and transport them overseas. Britian will hit Europa mainland if they lose Samabrovia (spelling?), attempting to take over there again. Brutii will sail to Greece. Scipii will land on north africa (Carthage), Greeks will hit several places if their armies are stong and the navy as well, Macedonia has landed on Asia Minor. I'm not aware of many others, these seem to be the most common.
