I just want to know if anybody here ever downloaded a demo for a game, and then when you bought it it wouldn't run on your computer? It hasn't ever happened to me, but I would like to by M2. The demo works fine, and I wouldn't want to waste $50.

FoR

Sorry if this is in the wrong catagory.

Don't think you should have a problem if you can run the demo, other than hard drive space.

Post your specs and I can tell you whether or not you will be able to play the full version.

CPU: No prob
Graphics: No prob either
RAM: Minium requirement is 512 MB, no prob there.

Hope that helps.

You need a DVD-drive to play the game. That is the only other requirement I can think of at the moment.

If I remember correctly the game takes of a couple of gigs of space. Also, I think, not sure however, the demo only took up about 500mb??? So, maybe the problem is not enough space an the hard drive for the game.

I dont think FoR has a problem yet, just trying to avoid any potential issues with running the full version. But if i recall it was something like 11gb of space for the full version.

I have a dvd drive.
And I haven't bought the game yet. I haven't had a demo work and the real game not so far.

FoR

And don't worry I have 150 gigs of space.

Nice video card! I am buying a new computer very soon (top of the line), and I too might buy M:TW2. You know, computers beat out other consuls when you get the brand new games to work flawlessly with highest graphics. It is such a good feeling

Good to hear that, FriendofRome. Hope you have many a happy hour conquering the Medieval world.

For the information, M2TW takes 11 GBs of space.

Thanks alot for your help. I hate it when you buy a new game and it won't run on your computer. That happened to me three years ago on my birthday. I got train simulator and x plane, and neither one of them worked on my old computer. AFF92 I know what a good feeling it is to get a REALLY good computer! This one I have now can run AOE III on high settings. Which was a big surprise.

Thanks again
FoR
