Lord Man of Sparta of the Number 101, thy question appears lost among the runes upon this Glass Curtain, though we shall attempt to retrieve thy query and give thee the counsel thou so desperately seek.
Our prophets have spoken. Among the Wearers of Bedsheets shall rise a man known as Marry Us. This man was a great general, and before he loses his mind due to mental illness and stroke, he shall change forever the nature of Roman warfare.
The eager-but-weak velites who shower their foes with small pointy pigstickers, the proud-but-simple swordsmen of the hastati, the durable and respectable principes, and the grizzled veterans of the triarii shall Marry Us do away with and in their place he shall allow the training of the feared Legionaries who in times gone by have conquered most of the known world and ruled it with an iron fist. Stout spearmen shall he also allow, and cowardly archers, but these are no longer Wearers of Bedsheets but called Auxilia. He shall also implement the sturdy Roman cavalry and do away with the useless Equites.
This he will do, and much else. But he will not do this until he comes to power, which he cannot do until there is what the salad-eaters will call an Imperial City in the land of Italia, or nearby that time.
Thus sayeth our prophets and Seers.
A small word of advice, noble lord. Many of thy runes appear incomprehensible. Slay thy scribe and fetch thee a new one who can communicate in a worthy manner upon this Glass Curtain so that our gallant colleagues and Noble Peers can fully understand thy request for aid and counsel.
