Heya all. New to this site, and RTW as well.
Now, the description of what I'm experiencing.
I installed RTW about three weeks ago, and finally took over Rome (last hostile territory on the map), and was all "Woohoo! I did it! Yipee!" So then I uninstalled it, and reinstalled it with the Rome: Total Realism mod - which worked fine. Wanting to go back to RTW so I could play with my little brother via LAN, I reinstalled it, and now...
When I run RTW, it shows neither the Activision thing nor the intro (it skips to the loading screen for the main menu). The background for the main menu stays the same (greek phalanxmen standing in a circle-ish thing) as the one in the main loading menu. It won't recognize any old save files either (untouched ones, I backed them up beforehand), and any time I try to start a campaign it crashes.
I tried reinstalled numerous times, including deleting the entire RTW folder (after uninstalling it), and it still doesn't work. I tried installing it, reinstalling it with RTR and its.. well.. even more buggy.
I use 1.5, by the way.
Anyways.. yeah. xP
Thanks in advance,
Chickan
