Hail and welcome, Lord Castor!
For thy first extended command, thou art doing extremely well. But does it matter what we think? Thou has the joy of sending thy warhosts hither and yon seeking honorbale battle, and the satisfaction of watching thy foes submit to thy will. Enjoy life as a warlord, and rejoice in the carnage!
The other warlords have given thee wise counsel- seek to engage these fools with a smaller warhost so the cowards do not flee in fright at thy very approach. Very wise.
Thou can also hunt down the Brutish burgs and capture them. End the Brutish ones rule over all Brutish cities, and thou has eradicated them, turning their paltry warhosts into rebels. Rebels may not flee. Engage and destroy at tyhy leisure. Problem solved.
Methinks in thy campaign, these Brutish pests have all of Illyria and the lands of the Greeklings. If this be true, send a slovenly spy to the lands of the Greeklings and learn what is housed in those burgs there. Greece is rich, our good Peer, and if undefended may make a worthy Grail for thine own warhosts.
A wonderful bonus in this is that the villages of the Greeklings are usually large, whilst the remaining Brutish burgs wil be small, and thus not able to replace or call to their banners the more advanced warbands.
Good luck, Noble Lord, and may thy sword remain eversharp
