What is the highest trait an amiral can get? My best navy ever has got 4 stars.
And is there any more ships than bireme, tireme and quingtireme (I can't spell)?
And can amirals only gain traits, stars?
And at last is an expirenced amiral important to an navy. ex an exprirenced amiral whit 200 men against an unexperienst amiral whit 400 men.
And about the location. I actually don't know my location but, I'm an "infantryman" so I guess I'm in the ranks right now.

I believe the admiral trait goes to level 5, which gives 5 command stars. You need lots of victories to get it though.
Admirals can gain retinues, though this seems to only happen when they're recruited.
The command skill of an admiral is taken into account, just like for generals, so it definitely is a good idea to use your best admirals against the largest enemy fleets.
There are more ships besides the Brireme, Trireme and Quinquireme. There also is the Corvus Quinquireme and the Decere, which can be build from a 4th and 5th level temple of Neptune respectively. Barbarians get Boats and Large Boats as their naval units.

You can also get them as gifts from the Senate on completion of Senate missions.
In RTR, the corvus quinquireme is available for construction at the highest level of port for the unified Roman faction.
