For those of you who have seen Frankie Howard in the brilliant Up Pompeii the above quote may sound familiar, if not you maybe recognise it from the Ancillary description of the Comedian.

I wonder if there are any more quotes from Films or Television in the Ancillaries?

Yes, I noticed this one a while back. Good old Up Pompeii...

There are a few more, I think. There are certainly a number of Monty Python references (in both RTW and BI). But I will leave them for yourself to find!
