Yes, as far i've seen they often do this. Sometimes the brutii soften the Greeks for the Scipii i find. And when i play as the Scipii i will often get the senate mission to take Sparta or Corinth.

Yes its happenned to me on my Julii campaign. In there, the Scipii own the souther portion of Greece and the Brutii own the north. The Scipii seem to lose their sense of direction quite often it would seem.

Can anyone explain this for me, when I was playing the Carthaginian's campaign (very hard) after apart the first 10 turns I had Sicily, backed the Juli of Caralis and had built up an army of round shield cavalry ready to pounce where ever need be. It was then I realised the Romans weren't coming anymore, the Numidian's weren't touching me and the Spanish/Gauls were being quiet as well.
Anyways turned of fog of war and found some really bizzare things.
1. The Juli and Bruti families were now making head way on taking Pontus and the Greek Cities were already destroyed.
2.Briton had actually been knocked out by the Germans and the Spanish were up helping the Gauls defend against them on the Northern borders.
3.Macedon had complete rule of Greece and no one was touching them.
4.The Scipi faction had done nothing and it took around another 25 turns for them to even oppose me.
5.Strangest thing of all S.P.Q.R actually ACCEPTED A CEASEFIRE!!!!!!!!!
Any ideas please let me know, I have no clue as to what is happening.

Actually Ancient Zoro, it is not all that unusual for the SPQR to accept ceasefires. In fact in my campaign it accepted and broke about a dozen ceasefires from the Greek Cities. I guess those feeble old men couldnt make up their minds.

Lol, I just got them to accept an alliance and give me military access. I have 3 armies in Italy and no one is touching them. I have no mods but I have recently changed some of the mercenaries stats and changed the Macedonians barracks to recruit Levy pike men where Militia Hoplites would be recruited, Phalanx were levy would be and so on.
I'm thinking this is the reason for some of the bizarre behaviours the AI is showing. I am still amazed at the fall of Briton so early in the game. It makes no sense.

Will do, it's far enough in the game so now I have sacred war bands and a shit load of heavy cavalry and the Germans have full stacks of axemen. This should be quick.
