My Lord Edorix speaks true. It's because of the over-inflated opinion that the AI has of chariots that any army that possesses them has an advantage when the AI auto-resolves its own battles. This is harsh on Germany, because anyone who has taken their spear warbands against the Britons will know that they they eat heavy chariots alive. In auto-resolve though, they're lambs to the slaughter. Egypt also does well through chariot bias, and more so because of it's massive economy.

If the system works based on being biased in favour of individual units, as opposed to the unit-type chariots, then you would just have to change the dictionary names of all the chariot units.
