Is there blood and gore in rtw...i understand that you can see the soldiers get stabbed, trampled, burned, drowned and hit by arrows but do you see any blood?

I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay....

There are two bloodpatches out. I haven't tried them myself because I feel I don't need it.

Anyways, you can find them on here: http://rometotalwar.gamigo.de/patches.htm

Use it on your own risk.. im not responsible if something gets screwed up.

I;m pefeectly content with Cavalry charging and making bodies fly 8-10 feet in the air.

Yea, blood isn't really that useful. It would just cause more lag. And with flaming arrows and even regular arrow storms to an extent, we don't need anything else causing lag.
