*Hi guys I'm new here. Just want to ask how to change year while your already at the middle of the campaign. What will I put to change the year?

*I tried to change the Year starts and the year End in RTW data and start new campaign that Starts in 520 BC ends in 520 AD. It works but my only problem is I planned to have a pure Spartan Family Name so I rejected all suitable husband for my daughters. All my Male Son have wife and reached at age 30-40 but still no children in my family. The fertility of my family affected cause I change the duration of the game instead of Stars of 270BC Ends 97 AD I changed it to 520 BC to 520 AD?

Any suggestion how to make it right or just the change year cheat. I've seen one it was change_year I think. But dosnt work. What is the correct cheat for changing year.

*If any body tried cheat for changing year does it effects your General/Character age?

Thanks and hope to read your relies asap.

Hi, welcome to this forum

I never tried to change the year while playing the campaign, and I don't know if the command is working in the Rome shell. I know some console commands are only working when used in scripts.

For the child problem: When increasing your empire, the game automatically generate kids, honorable captains etc.

So if your family is not receiving children, expand your empire. (There are also trait cheats what increases the fertility)

The game tries to keep a balance of 5 provinces to three male family members.

Like Dagovax said, expanding your empire (rapidly) will generate Men of the Hour, do it slowly or lose a lot of people to old age and breeding should occur.

Its a coin toss if the child is male or female. Good luck trying to keep the family name going- there are reams of studies showign that royal family names died out and were replace with others throughout history.

its the bloodline that matters, not so much the family name.
