Yea, you can't play Numidia unless you download a mod that allows all factions to be playable, or mod the game yourself. They aren't good anyway.

Numidia is amazing, provided you fight in the desert. Their campaign is sort of hard because you're all broken up. But there are all these territories that you can easily conquer with the forces you have. It just get's annoying with Egypt constantly attacking you. If you can break out of Africa the East is quite takeable. I imagine the North would kind of suck for Numidia

The Numidians were a mere collection of native peoples of Sudan and North Africa. They used Numidia, I guess, because they were quite a prominent civilization during the times of Ancient Egypt.

OK. But i don;t understand what theymean when they say "political entity".

And does anyone know an example of a civliazation that wasn't a "political entity" like Numidia?

Numidia definitely had kings, so they must have been a political entity
