Hi everyone,
I made most units a tad bigger and, as I play on Huge unit sizes, most settlements now can't support my armies, nor those of the enemy.
I'm playing as the Seleucids, and I just conquered Greece & Macedonia from the Bruti, and all I can recruit are the Scythed Chariots, cause there's only about 40 men in those units. The Romans have depleted their population as well, as they've only got Wardogs left in their armies =)
This might also be cause they seem to exterminate every town they capture. Is there a way to remedy this?
Increasing the population at the start?
Decreasing the percent of people killed off when an army 'exterminates' or sacks a town?

Hahaha, no they were towns that I conquered FROM the Bruti. They literally depopulated the entire map before I got there... Very frustrating.
I actually don't think the code-phrase will do anything, to be honest. It might be the over-aggressiveness that comes with the VH difficulty?

Ah, so it's a common problem with the larger unit sizes and more bloodthirsty AI, then? I hadn't really been confronted with this kind of problem in my decade of RTW. I think the slight increase in unit sizes will probably have tipped the scales...
