I don't know in which year the game ends.
The Goths and Huns appear much later in history - The Goths sacked Rome in 410CE, if I recall correctly.
Christianity became the official religion of Rome about 313CE, within 1 century, the Roman empire was divided into the eastern and western empires, and the western empire collapsed in the early 5th century CE.
There's a moral there, I'm sure.

the goths are the germans basically (i think technically there weren't germans back then
the game ends something like 14 AD.. it's in that text file w/ the playable factions.. etc that you can edit.. you can edit these dates and the marius reform date (which is extrememly accurate)

These questions were answered in the manual, I believe. Questions similar to yours are answered in the it. Read the manual, and if you still don't have your question answered, then post.

Actually, it is a possible 568 turns if you go to 14 ad no more, no less. Of course, I don't think I've played a campaign past 200bc, and DEFINATELY not past 150 bc.......yet..........the one I am on now is slow going.
