The big man posts!
ALL MY SKINS AND UNITS? Perhaps I should make a mod called Total War Fanaticism with all of files. Not all of the new skins are mine, I use many skins and some units from darth, SPQR, RTR, and others. They'd be in Total War Fanaticism anyways.
Most of the individual units and skins I made are available in my sig.

'Oh no, not again,' I hear you groan. For I return!
This time, it is mainly the grand stratagy side of things, and not the battles. Sorry to dissapoint you bloodthirsty maniacs, but the 1st seige was very unexciteing, and the other 2 I auto resolved. However, Rome's final battle, adventures in Gaul and Turkey are soon.

Background: Everything explained in the pic.
[JPEG, (162.55 KB)]
Seige 1: Capua
[JPEG, (182.29 KB)]
Cleon of Sparta, faction heir, survays the progress of the seige. My ballistas have set fire to a buiding, hopeing to make it spread. It didn't
[JPEG, (232.50 KB)]
Fierce fighting on the walls- here, the seige tower docked, and the armoured hoplites spilled onto the peasants, knocking them off the walls.
The fight on the walls went on for 20 minutes, so I fastforwarded it.
ttp://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e299/EnemyofJupitor/Greece-Italiacampain4-Capua.jpg
The last charge of the Scipii- I march to the plaza with hoplites, and they charge.
I retreated my Ballista and Archers due to being not needed, BTW.
[JPEG, (234.85 KB)]
The end- No survivours.

Seige 2- Ariminum.

The results. Remember, I auto-resolved it, so the casulties are higher than you may have expected.

Seige 3- Patavium. Once again I auto-resolved.

The results. This next one I want you to pay attemtion to...
[JPEG, (112.87 KB)]
Explination- The areas marked in yellow are Greek lands before the Italia campain. The red lines signify the lands taken to acheive phrase 1. The Blue lines, however, are the end of Phase 2, and where I am presently at. The arrows marked '1', IE, the ones comeing out of Capua and the sea signify my captureing-Rome army. It shall be led by Cleon of Sparta, who captured Capua. Veterens of the army will join him with the fresh army being shipped in, while the rest will be posted on the Dacian and Sythian border, as a back up for the one that is all ready there, just in case. The arrows marked '2', signify the movement of Thaulos of Ilium's army. They shall strike out against the remaining Julii city in Italia, then march North to do battle with Gaul and Spain. Arrow 3 maps the route of Talaos of Pella. He shall go North, and attack Britannia and Germania, before either helping Thaulos with Gaul or into Dacia.
I realise it may not be the most exciteing set of screenies I've shown you, but I think it interesting, as it shows grand stratagy, not just tactics on the battlefield.

EoJ :: Very nice! Way to raise the bar. I'd like to see more like that. EDIT:: I forgot to mention that in the pic, I am they grey section!

Update :: Last night I found my inspiration to play again, and have began my Selucid campaign again. Heres the situation so far. Thanx EoJ!

^ To the north I'm advancing with a 3/4 stack force, consisting of heavy troops. This army's job is to locate, scout, destroy, and conquer any faction it comes across. With reinforcements on the way.

To the south, I'm laying siege on Alexandria with a 1/2 stack force. South of Alexandria is a FULL stack force which I'm sending for backup, and/or reinforcement.

To the west, Armenia has annoyingly remained in their last position. I've attacked with Captain-led armies, about 3 now, and they have managed to fight me off every time.?? Currently, there is another army that I have reinforced with Phalanx troops, and I'm pretty sure they're screwed!

Besides that, thats it. As I take out Egypt, I'm going to do a battle pic story on one of those battles. Stay tuuunnneddddd...

Did you guys know you can make 30 second vids with fraps to? I'm going to post some and see if they work later.

*punches air with fist*
This is likely to be the biggest battle of the campain, and it's landed straight on my doorstep.
I'm going through the battle ATM, but this is the combatents-
Me- (Greece) Thaulos of Ilium (4 stars, 1387 men) V...waith for it... (SPQR) Cassius Maximus (6 stars, 1352 men) AND the sallying (Julii) garrison of Arretium Decius Julius (0 stars, 1154 men)
Odds: 1:2. You think I can do it?
Personally, I don't know weather to do it the adventurus way (March on them, swing round, then march on the garriosn) or the more pressurised way (Phalanx square/circle).

I have just started my first non roman Imperial campaign.

Egyptian. On difficulty VH/VH which is hardest Ive been to.

Dusty business war.

Archers fired a salvo into the plaza at enemy cavalry. Then ran for their lives through the friendly spearmen. Light cavalry and spears dont mix well.
Bostra is now Egyptian.
