I have just installed rome total war and have patched it to version 1.5, but have some questions
(1)In the advanced game option screen there is a section called unit scale, this has a number of options but the two best options seem to be Huge and then Highest. For some reason I can only select Hugh and although Highest is displayed I cant select it. Does anyone know why this is?
(2)The game install gives the option of installing Windows Media Format 9, do I need to install this for the game to run correctly, I am running XP Pro SP2?
(3)How can I check to see if patch 1.5 has installed correctly? (although it seemed to install ok I cant find the read me for it although there seems to be a read me for 1.3 in my game folder). Also within the game I cant find anything to indicate it updated to 1.5 ?

The "highest" setting you see below huge is actually that of one of the other options, it just happens to appear directly under the drop down menu for "Unit Scale"

Thanks
I see now the most you can set unit scale to is huge.
I was also wondering
(1)how can you bring up a frame rate counter in the game?
(2)Is it worth installing the mod rome total realism 6.2?(is there a review of the mod anywhere, do you lose your saved games from the original game if u install?)

1) You can download and use FRAPS. You will have to pay to use all of its features though, but I believe the frame rate counter is free.
