Seuloid empire is no way the easest, after the start you attacked by many fractions (ponuts, egypt, armenia and parthinthia)

The early Seleucid units are some of the worst thats why they are usually destroyed by eygpt but if they survive their late game units are some of the best and they can prove to be a challenging enemy. However it is very hard to keep them alive early on and thats why its difficult to play as them in he campaign.

Well I'm doing a Germania campaign. I got Britian, Dacia and now the Gauls have started attacking me, with a strong Julli army in Illyria, coming this way. For me Germania is quite easy to expand but hard to maintain.

Legions Of Hell:
I am also doing a Germanic campaign at the moment. What settings are you on? I'm on h/h. I'm at 350bc exactly and have taken Vicis Gothi and DDD in the east, Denmark to the north and have just taken Alesia. Also took Lugdunum early on.
I agree its very easy to expand and maintenance is easy so far...
Don't get a lot of income still, but early on there is lts to be taken. If you can beat Gaul to Lugdunum then take it, in the east Gothi and DDD are both poorly guarded rebel towns. Gothi has a wonderful income to. After a while Gaul get weak from having to strectch their forces, but I was worried early on when my spy in Alesia showed that they just kept pumping out unit after unit. Now I've taken it its great, my biggest city by far, newest buildings courtesy of Gaul, was there for the taking pretty soon. Britain not possing much of a threat either. It is definatly on H/H, so I'm still ready for any suprises but none so far. My biggest enemy are rebels i think, Warband popping up all over the place but they seldom have anything more.
