I was going to put this into history, but, its has very little to do with it per say....
You see, I'm reading a very good book entitled 1776, as Revolutionary war history is very popular in my area. (I live 20 minutes away from Vally Forge, and like 45 minutes away from Philadelphia). My question is, how to Europeans, mostly British view the war? Do you tend to forget about it, like most Americans forget about the Mexican American war, do you study it in school? I don't know how to exactly put this. I'm just wondering, as most British people (Or English, but at the time British) tend to forget the American War of 1812, as of course you all had Napoleon to deal with. So, is for some reason the American Revolution forgotten in the aftermath of the 7 years war?
Sorry if I don't make much sense, I just woke up, and tired as hell...
*Note: I don't want to turn this into a "We beat you guys" or, "You hardly won" Topics. So, no fighting please, I'm just asking a simple question, that I want to be answered without patriotic fanaticism joining in.
Also if you don't understand what I posted, I'll be more then happy to explain later, after I eat, shower etc....
Lost in a roman...wilderness of pain
And all the children are insane
