I have two things that bother me about this game, and my question is: Can I do anything about them?
1. When you kill the enemy general, you get a cut-scene. Great. But time still goes on during that scene, which lasts 2-3 seconds, during which I have no control over my army. Often I charge the enemy general, and then want to move away again, because there's usually some heavy infantry or heavy cavalry in front of the enemy general, which I of course want to avoid.
So, how do I turn the damn cut-scene off?
2. Patch 1.2 introduced the in-battle commentary. Most of the time, it tires me. Sometimes it infuriates me. Never, does it make me happy.
It is just so pointless. Sometimes, when I press the Start Battle button, it already says something like: 'The tides of fortune have changed for the worse...' I haven't even started! This usually happens when I'm outnumbered.
And it's counting is also pointless. Sometimes, I've killed 80% of the enemy, as that little progress bar thingy says. But then mr. Commentator says 'we've slain half the enemies forces', something like that.
The reason, is because the progress bar counts casualties + POWs, but mr. Commentator counts only casualties.
And what really irritated me, was during a heavy battle: I had 20% casualties, enemy had 66% casualties, and mr. Commentator said: 'Only a military genius can save us from this disgrace'. Man, that annoyed me. It took that heart out of my battle and I indeed lost.
So, how do I execute mr. Commentator?
Thanks.
