So.. to fight the other historical battles you must first win the first one?

ok when i downloaded Alexander and i tried to install it said "No prior installation of Rome-Total War was found. The installation program will now terminate." I have RTW and BI installed and i guess the installation program is looking in the wrong directory, but how do i get it to look at the right directory?

It might be one of those battles where there are specific objectives that must be fulfilled.
For instance, in MTW, to win the battle of Liegnitz as the Mongols you had to kill both enemy generals. Even if you win, if the generals escape, it doesn't count as a win.
There might be one of those conditions. Maybe you have to completely kill 100% of the Sacred Band or something.
Or maybe you have a bug.
