Got a screenshot of Kingdoms that you want to show off?
Post it in this thread then.

Race won by blaster fodder.
The game is released today and the first forumer to post a screenshot (self-taken) will have it featured in the news on the front page.

Post it in this thread!

Info on taking screenshots:
1: Press print screen to take screenshots.
2: They will be saved as TGA's at SEGA/Medieval II Total War/tgas
3: Irfanview will open TGAs and you can save them as Jpegs.
Thanks to both Marcus & Santos for providing this info in the thread.

I've never ventured to see how to convert tgas to jpegs because I have Photoshop.

Does anyone else know if you can convert TGAs to jpeg without Photoshop? I know Microsoft Paint won't open them.

EDIT:
Irfanview will open TGAs and you can save them as Jpegs. I just tried it.

Cheers.

Gaius, methinks you should post this info about Irfanview in your OP so folks can see it eh?

I know how you can make screenshots, but can you minimize Kingdoms? Because, if I want to make a screenshot and post it, I've got to use Print Screen, and then I've got to save my game, quit it and go to paint + imageshack. Is there an easier way? Because if I want to make a screenshot in series, I'm busy an hour.

Here comes New France! I'm so scared...
They take Camp Miccosukee. I let two generals flee because they are valuable and I hope they can launch a counterattack.
They do. That was the end of the story.

Hey DutchAver how did you get the Kalmar union to form?

You have to conquer most of the provinces in Sweden - all the coastal ones, I think, there are a couple of inland villages you don't really need. You also need to conquer Gotland and the one Finnish province. Also, keep in mind that Norway has to be alive. Once I conquered all the requisite provinces I got a message saying that once the King of Norway died (he was about 70) I could form the Kalmar union. I trained an assassin, but he died before I could get to him. Then you get a message asking if you want to found it.
