That is certainly great news. Cheers for the guy who made Retrofit.
In few days I will make few other changes to v2; not a full blown one but necessary ones.
1. Mercenary Ribaults and Merc Monster Ribaults still had 2 engines. Im fixing it to 3.
2. I switched some rebel forces on the British Isles, so now Dublin is easier to take as the Scots. Otherwise Scotland simply sits there if noone takes Dublin.
3. Replaced Byzantine Cavalry with Armored Cavalarii--a new unit. Basically it is a mail clad horse archer unit on an eastern armored horse shooting bodkin(AP) arrows. Main task is to overpower any steppe horse archers while surviving through their heavy armor, and do reasonably well in melee. Weakness lies in expensive cost to recruit (most expensive HA unit) and weak morale. Value of 7 actually.

kind of like Cataphract Archers in R:TW.
I feel the same way I did after playing Stronghold 2 for about 15 minutes, like it was my birthday and all my friends had wheeled a giant birthday cake into the room, and I was filled with hopes dreams and desires when suddenly out of the cake pops out not a beautiful buxom maid, but a cranky old hobo that just shanks me then takes $60 dollars out of my pocket and walks away saying "deal, with it".

but with low morale...
Yep, it's true, having no sig is boring. But so is this one. Which makes my point... relatively pointless. Can a point be a point when it is pointless?

Hm, interesting.
One thing I would actually love is a wierd kind of ZoR- capturing the capital of each faction (EG, Venice) would allow you to recruit a Unique unit of that faction (EG, the Venice archers and/or heavy infantry). Could make for all sorts of wierd and wonderful armies!
Also, the suggestions I put in the suggestion thread- they can all be for 3.nil

Ok, v2.1 has replaced the original v2 in the Downloads section. Aside from the changes I mentioned above, the Papal States can recruit the powerful Crusader Knights (equivalent of Chivalric knights) and Crusader Sergeants from the Stables and Barracks of Fortress level castles. Fear the cross, MUAHAHAHA!
Now I will devote my time for eliminating any bugs and making v3--just as memorable as the previous 2 versions.

IMPORTANT:
The Pope and 2 rebel armies were on an impassable terrain in v.2 and the v2.1 that was uploaded a day ago. It tended to cause bugs when combined with other Mods, although it didn't give any trouble alone. I just fixed it(relocated em) and just re-uploaded it as 2.1. Please download it again and switch its descr_strat file with yours. Thanks mucho EoJ, for the notification and thank your patience for re-downloading Mongolphobia Mod v2.1.

Just got V2, tried a Seraphim and wiped out 1/3 of my army. Your mod is the most fun TW out there, el_bandito!
It is not enough that I succeed, but my enemies must fail.

Your mod is the most fun TW out there, el_bandito!
And it would be very much helped by having it mod-switch compatible. I know many gamers who won't install a mod unless it has this.

The only thing it uses is retrofit, though, and you can easily make another copy of the folder beforehand and play it from there. You can still play Vanilla and any other mod you wish to play with
