The Critera/Contest Details

Your Task:
To create a story based on the screenshot found below. The story can detail the events prior the battle depicted, the events after or even just the battle. It can be told from any perspective (a soldier fighting in the battle, a commander not in the screenshot, a horseman, ect.) as long as a point in the story details what is happening in the screenshot.

Rules:

• The story must follow the above criteria or it will be disqualified.


• The story must have a minimum of 2,000 words and must have no more than 10,000 words total. Your typing program should be able to calculate this for you.


• All entries must be received before January, 23rd, 2005 at 11:59 PM (EST/Forum Time) or they will be disqualified.


• This is an individual story. It may not be written by multiple authors, you may however get it proof read by friends. Do not post your story on this forum.


• The story must be your own! Don't plagiarize!


• Only one entry per person may be submitted.
  

What do I submit?
An attached text file with the story (something that can be formated), along with your forum name, and your real name and address. Don't worry. This information will not be given out to anyone. This is so that if you win we can send your prize/s. All this should be emailed to me.

Your story will be graded on:

• Creativity


• Plot


• Proper grammar, and spelling (It's not too hard to spell check your story, is it?)


• Whether we (the judges) liked it or not (tilt).

Prizes:
1st place will receive a Rome: Total War t-shirt and $20.
2nd place will receive a Rome: Total War t-shirt and $10.
3rd place will receive a Rome: Total War t-shirt.
