This is a 2v2 multiplayer battle with me as the Julii with an Egyptian ally that proves to be useless. He is basically wiped out, and in an attempt to save him, I lose 3 units of Praetorian Cavalry. I'm stuck with only my infantry and my general's Praetorian Cavalry. If my ally did something at all, he managed to exhaust the Brutii soldiers by forcing them into testudo, and by absorbing a lot of arrow fire from the Scythian Noble Archers. With my ally's efforts being competely in vain, I resort to forming a ring without a glimmer of hope in me, preparing to make a last stand against them...
In this video, newbies (mabye even some veteran players) can find very useful bits of information. One can apparently see what's a good counter to a lot of chariots and how not to counter Scythian Nobles, a good formation when the situation is hopelessly desperate, the performance of fatigued vs fresh units, the uselessness of the Testudo formation, and the fact that no matter how desperate the situation; no matter how screwed you may seem...never give up.
Are you sure you won that? :-/ all your units fled the field except one

Replays tend to have a mind of their own...

What the hell? That isn't what happened! Wtf?! I have the Victory screen, and I won a Narrow Victory. His men spent most of the game in Testudo, and were exhausted by the time they fought me, and the Scythian guy's army was being attacked from two sides and routed when their general died. The Brutii guy's men got mauled cause they were all extremely exhausted from using testudo so much, and that one unit of Praetorians of mine that survived, I deployed next to my infantry and it ended up surviving to chase off all of the guy's archers from the field cause he left the game. Those units of Desert Cavalry were really routed and my Egpytian ally only had like 5 units of extremely undermanned chariots left after the battle.
You don't forget battles like that, and I know for a fact I won. Why the hell is the replay showing it wrong? It's even happening with other games. Games that were Heroic Victories are looking like Narrow Victories or even losses! What's wrong with my replay files?

Yeah. that happens. On two Replays my units started to rout and I was crushed, despite the fact that I won the battle
