Ironic. The day I feel well enough to try multiplayer again, I have to play two uber-annoying n00bs...both of which have all-calvary armies.
One of which is an all-calvary archer army. Do you have any idea how well I had to micro-manage my Cataphracts to bring those losers down? It was heck!
Apparently, both of the n00bs created really small armies, but upgraded all units to max. Which was heck for us. Max-upgraded cataphract archers. ;)
And then, once me and my fairly novice ally crushed our enemies, his enemy, rightfully named Poo, ran his surviving (like, 21) cataphracts around the map spouting typical n00b insults.
After what seemed like forever, he killed my forgotten onagers and a unit of legionaries.
Nevertheless, we refused to humor the pig, and eventually we FINALLY killed his remaining horsemen, who my Silver Shield Pikemen and my ally's General finally cut down. Next time, if there is one, I'm setting a timer. I must've waited an hour of my life listening to annoying n00b insults and watching cataphracts run around the map.
Longest, most annoying battle ever. You'd think that after getting over the flu, my first battle could just maybe be against skilled, non-five-year-old players. Naaah.
From now on, I play only in forum parties.
Sidenote: Too bad it doesn't display any chat messages, otherwise you would've gotten the picture better. Oh, well.
