nice battle. His scorpions seemed to kill a lot of my men but he never pointed them at my most important part of my army, my calvary. The replay ends before the stats pop up but as you can see on the battlefield, it was a heroic victory. Very nice strategy firefox :-)
Triple speed until you see the timer reach about 850000. Either that, or get a book to read.
Once the action actually begins it was pretty interesting. Your flanking move came far too close to the cohorts; you should have moved your Pharoah's Guards to tie them down first. I would say that it was more luck that anything that you won. That, and that you hosted a desert map and used Egypt.
I was quite impressed with your opponent not panicking, I would say that it was pure luck that the onagers took out so many.
When using the Wheel of Doom, my practise is to leave one flank open, and put the archers in front. The latter is a leftover from the 1.1 friendly fire problem, but both entices the opponent to attack your right flank.
I rarely use the Wheel of Doom nowadays since I feel it was a little cheesy to use Egypt, and that people no longer underestimate the Desert Cavalry. Still, it's quite practisable.
