This is my first 1vs1 victory playing online, and I was pretty proud of the way I handled the cavalry charge by my opponent.
He brought in Onagers, 2 of them, and started moving them to the middle of the field, I moved in 1 legion of archers to take it out, but before I could finish the last few rememaining men manning them he sent in his Cavalry. I backed up my archers to my lines and advanced my Cohorts trying to seperate his cavalry, though he still went throught the middle. I figure if it was not for him rushing up the hill to me, all my men might have routed, but for some reason, when my general was killed my men fought harder and routed all of his cavalry. Once they were out of the way, I marched my men down the hillside and finished off his remaining spearmen.
I really liked the way I was able to stay cool under what should have been a huge lose for me, but I managed to turn it into a victory!
